Evil Queen Inspired Shoe - Disney Sole by becsketch Evil Queen Inspired Shoe - Disney Sole by becsketch
Over the seven jeweled heels, beyond the seventh fall, in the closet of the Shoe Addict, dwells her dazzling shoe, fairest of them all.

Sketch and Photoshop.
The Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: (c) Disney.
Shoe art: (c) becsketch - I just wanted to interpret her into a shoe.

I love the detail of broken glass. A nice subtle hint of whom the shoe represents.

Well as a shoe-lover and a Disney Geek I LOVE all the shoes. They're fantastic! You should do more shoe series XD Like Superheroes, and Avatar: the Last Airbender, etc.

It look's so realistic! I've never really been able to draw mirror shards properly any tips?

I looked up a bunch of reference photos online, just googlin around till I started to notice patterns in how broken glass looks: Since each piece is flat, they are generally uniformly shaded and high contrast, also addressing a certain thickness to the shapes profile helps make it feel dimensional like glass - bevel and emboss in photoshop is especially great to play with as a starting point :)
